From idea to MVP. From MVP to product.
Some ideas can't be met with off-the-shelf software: a marketplace that brings two sides together, a portal where customers track orders and documents, or your own SaaS product. The biggest risk in these projects is starting too big and reaching the market too late.
So we define the smallest valuable product (MVP) first, ship it quickly and grow it with real usage data. The architecture is built to scale from day one: multi-tenant data, role-based permissions, tests and a documented API.
Mallow Studio builds marketplaces, customer portals, dashboards and SaaS products, starting with an MVP that ships quickly and then scaling on a multi-tenant, tested architecture with a documented API.
- MVP-focused scope and fast launch
- Multi-tenant architecture
- Role-based access, auditing and security
- Automated tests and a documented API
What we deliver
Product strategy
Target users, business model and MVP scope.
Architecture
Data model, service boundaries and a scaling plan.
Application development
Web interface, API and background jobs.
Identity and access
Role-based access, session security and audit logs.
Testing and quality
Unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
Launch and DevOps
CI/CD, monitoring, backups and environment management.

Platforms that connect two sides
Matching demand with supplyOn the reverse marketplace we built, manufacturers describe what they need in everyday language; the system turns it into technical criteria and matches it with verified producers. Quotes are collected in a comparable format and orders close inside the platform.
- Extracting criteria from natural language
- Supplier verification and profiles
- Quote comparison and order tracking

Systems bound by rules
Security designed in from the startOn platforms with corporate buyers and sellers we enforce rules like catalogue approval, document verification, lot tracking and an approval engine in code. Production won't start without strong authentication, rate limiting and private file storage.
- Approval engine and workflows
- Private file storage
- Versioned API v1

Frequently asked questions
How long does an MVP take?
Usually a few months, depending on scope. In the first meeting we decide together which features belong in the MVP and which can wait — the goal is to get feedback from real users as early as possible.
Who owns the source code?
Unless the contract says otherwise, the source code and IP of software built specifically for you transfer to you once the project is paid for. The code lives in a repository under your account.
Can you work with our existing development team?
Yes. We work in different models, including architecture consulting, building specific modules and code review support for your team.
How do you keep the software secure?
Authentication, authorisation, input validation and rate limiting are designed in from the start; sensitive data is encrypted, secrets never live in the code and dependencies are updated regularly. For critical projects we recommend an independent penetration test.
